my amp sucks. Its hooked up to a 10 inch boston acoustic. my amp by the way is a sony 760x2 it plays fine at low volume with low bass. i've had 3 amps hooked up to it so far and they all went into protect mode. i wired it all right. i checked it 9 thousand times. i ran it in bridged mode on all the amps and it went into protect mode on every one. i then ran it on 1 of the two channels and every one still did it. i was wondering if it could be the wire size? i am running 8 guage wire for both the ground and the battery wire. it is running 400 watts peak when it is bridged and somwhere around 250-300 RMS. i also have house entertainment rca's hooked up but i dont know if there is a difference. i think the other rca's that i have were a little thicker. would that matter at all? i also have the power wire fuse probably about 8 inches from the amp. i dont know if that matters at all. PLEASE HELP ME IT IS DRIVING ME CRAZY thanks
