First off. I wish to god i had a video of this lol. Either way. Heres my story I had a popped jl e1200. I got the mosfets in to fix it (reluctantly, all of them at that). Sooo it ran nicely on my w0 for about a month. I bought my re se 12 back from a buddy. I hooked it up, started playing it for about 30 seconds and the amp went into protect mode. I started heading home and the amp turned off. Check stuff....inline fuse is blown, replace it, turn key to acc... hear a pop, then another, then another, then a ****ing loud *** pop and I could even see a slight flash on the last one and smoke poured out of the amp Needless to say, im not fixing it again. Im not even sure why it ****ed up in the first place, its 2 ohm stable, and it had worked before...maybe i just ****ed up somewhere in fixing it. It was funny to hear the same mosfets that blew last time, pop in succession lol. Got a hifonics 1206d on the way. and looking for another se 12, so if you got one, PM me!!! Cliffs notes: The gain was at 1/3. Music not quite at 1/2 volume. Amp goes into protect. I replace fuse. Amp explodes and kills 3 1st graders from like 2 miles away. Cops come. On me.
