That is because you dont have the electrical system to supply it. I would first turn the gains down to save anything from happening then I would invest in a ho alt and a second battery. Or risk the chance in having something happen to the amp or anything else for that matter.Fast story that happend to me when I was a newb. I was going to show off had 2 large amps, stock alt and bat. I crancked it up to show off to some people and they were  older  kicker 500si. So what happend is when it didnt get enough power from my bat, it some how fried my hu as well. Like it just sucked everything at that second when I cranked it, I had 2 amps hooked up they were smoked along with the hu.</blockquote>
