Message: <blockquote data-quote="adam71" data-source="post: 1089982" data-attributes="member: 549079"><p>I got to open a box of with the new Thunder Axe High End comps and got to handle them a little bit.  The woofers feel really solid and are very shallow on the mounting depth.  The tweeters seem to be of alot better quality then the 5000 or the 8000 tweeters.  The crossover networks are as robust as any MB Quart crossover I've ever put my hands on.  Without hearing them I would say they compare to sets twice their price.  But then again specs don't tell you how they will sound in YOUR car.  So audition if you can and then make your selection.</p></blockquote><p></p>
