Hey! I'm about to go ahead and being to brainstorm my new project, my '07 Honda CR-V. Like many people, I want this one to maintain the stock look, as the dash kits out right now don't look good with single DIN units. Even the Dual DIN dash kits with a conservative Nav installed make the dash look way to aftermarket, and I've yet to find a nav that so to say "matches" the dash and dash kit well. I've thought about a Cleansweep for a while, but then realized how much of a nuisance the OEM Cd Changer is, so I have the idea of mounting the HU in either the center console or the glovebox. If I mount it in the center console, it would be cool. There's a door and the HU would fit inside the compartment (http://media.automotive.com/evox/stilllib/honda/cr-v/2007/5od/61.jpg). But, the HU would have to be mounted in a complete vertical position. Would this be ok for the HU? Or, I may just wire everything to the glovebox-it's a shorter run and there's a bit more room to play around with.
