Message: <blockquote data-quote="DaveDSMer" data-source="post: 2322415" data-attributes="member: 571598"><p>Where can I go to find mounting depth on my vehicle.  I am putting in Alpine R components and the car audio guys at the store say they have clearance issues at times because they are deeper than most normal 5x7s.  Looking around best I could find was just diameter size of the mounting holes not actual depth it will allow.  It's a 1993 Lincoln Mark VIII with the JBL system.  Oddly enough most car fit guides list 1993 as a Mark VII but this is a Mark VIII so I sometimes have to put in 1994.. go figure.  Anyways, any help there would be great.
