Tell me about the best set you've had with the least amount of equipment. My all time favorite setup that I had was one that I took design que's from Richard Clark's award winning Grand National. It was nowhere near as complex but the concept was the same. I had an 1981 Chev Monte Carlo, in the dash I had a set of Lanzar 3 1/2" coaxials and in the trunk a pair of Lanzar LP12's, that was it for the speakers and for power there was a PPI Art Series A404, the h/u was a Pioneer keh-p7000 cassette deck and in the trunk the matchin 12disc changer, the only eq was the bass, mid, and treble control in the h/u and this setup sounded awesome. Sound quality was incredible and the bass was tight and it still hit hard and would drop low when needed. Mind you this was also in 1992 when Lanzar was still Lanzar and the LP series and the 3 1/2" where their top end drivers. Hell if I remember correctly the LP12's were both rated at 101db 1watt/1meter. Those were the good ole days hahahahah...everybody tell me about your old setups:D :D
