[QUOTE="Doxquzme, post: 8864233, member: 689267"] I run a hybrid active/passive on my rear fill coax only. I would have gone active on them as well, I have the DM810 and 10 channels out, but alas, only 8 channels of amplification with an FDP 4.600 and an ACM 4.300. Initially I had everything on passives, went to active, then added a pair of Infinity dome mids up front for a 3-way stage, so back to the DSP tuning for the rears and a combination active/passive bandpass on the rears - sometimes you have to work with what you got. Since i only use the saved setting that includes the rears when others are in the car, for me up front, it's still active all the way! I'd never go back to passives for critical listening. In mediocre speakers, it's an improvement, in really good speakers like your Morel, it allows the quality to really stand out, play to their potential If you have the option, and are willing to learn or pay someone to tune it, go for it, you won't be disappointed.
