I later ran them at 1000 watts a piece and they took the power easily. I wouldn't doubt the CVX would get almost as loud though. If you look around, two 15" CVX's can be had for 300 shipped. I'd say try the CVX's out, cant go wrong. But if you do choose the Mofo's, you wont be disappointed!
Wow, the dude asked about PA MOFOS or KICKER CVX'S! Are you really that ignorant were you cant see the question being asked? You pick one or the other, not FI or DD or BJ. Anyway... I used to run two 12" mofos off a Hifonics BX2005D @2ohms as my first system. Check "old setup" in sig. Ran them for a while at 2ohm only giving them about 400 watts a piece. Got VERY loud. The loudest pairs of twelves I've heard for that many watts. Every average joe that heard them thought I was running multiple 15's back there and thousands of watts. My roof flexed about 3 inches up down, tailgate looked like it was gonna fly off, all that good stuff. When I first installed them in my Explorer, I metered a 144.8 on the new TL, just playing around. That was off shitty rap music, no tuning whatsoever and in a 30hz enclosure.
