Mig Welder

I would pass on that one!! You might wanna get one that can run gas or cored wire. The one you posted the link to only runs flux core wire. Check out lowes...They sell some of the lower line lincolns which are still good welders. You might also check with your local welding supply. They usually have some used machines.

Actually now that I think about it you said mig welder. The machine you linked isn't a mig welder it's a wire feed. Mig stands for metal inert gas. A mig welder can run flux core wire (no gas) unless it's dual shield but we won't get into that, and also solid wire with shielding gas. The machine you're "looking" at can't run solid wire.

Oh. I just know to do it. I dont know whats in 'em lol.

That is a tough one. I think that as soon as you spend $200 and use a cheap one, your gonna regret it and wish you woulda spent $4-500 and get a lower line Hobart or Linclon. IMO, Spend the money if you plan on using it at all, other wise, screw it and get down to Harbor Freight. Just saying, ive seen it happen //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
