I was tring to think of a way to get both my cdt and dayton 6.5's in the fron of the vehicle. One idea I have is to purchase another pair of stock kicks and modifying them to house the cdt mirdrange. basically All i think I would have to do is remove each cdt 6.5 with its respective plastic baffle, cut a large enough hole in the kick to put the baffle into, use mdf to make a ring that the baffle and speaker mount to and then finally use some body filler to fill up my gaps. I am debating wheter I should try to mount my pair of aura tweeters with them. They will be off axis and I am thinking the stock tweeter locations in the a pillars is easier to keep. I cant make my own kicks because I'm 6 foot 4 and wear size 13 shoes (the deadpetal is a neccesity. I have inspected both sides of the car and it will take up more room on the passenger side, but thats fine because they don't have to drive. Anyone have any input. BTW has anyone been able to remove the shielding off the back of a dayton reference series speaker.
