So I have some tweeters setup in my truck doors with my fullrange speakers. They dont get super loud, and I feel like I am missing some midbass. The sub I have is an ED9kv, seeing about 160W. My speakers are here: Goldwood GW-205/4S 5-1/4" Shielded Poly Woofer 4 Ohm I have the "cheap" neodynium PPI tweeters, yes this is a budget build. Im just wondering, the frequency response on the speakers is 62-12k hz, but I still feel like there is too little midbass. The amp is Picasso Nano 320.4, the xovers are set to full pass, and the tweeters have bass blockers inline setup to protect them. Gains are all the way down as I seem to have some alternator whine that I cant seem to fix. HU is JVC xs68. Trying to get it to sound louder. I currently have the the speakers all playing off the bridged channel and sub off the other. I am going to change this and send power to the tweeters from the HU and just use the two speakers to the amp. Just wondering if the speakers I chose are poor for midbass, and if I should consider getting real midbass drivers. Loudness is also a problem, when I connect the AUX from my Sansa Clip to the HU- it doesnt get very loud only on some songs. Any ideas on any of this?
