Well This is my second time getting stuck using a metra install kit to mount an eclipse CD player (CD7200MKII) in my Nissan Titan. The insurance company put the replacement CD player in and when I got home I realized it would not eject CDs. The problem is the eclipse CD players like to lower the face more than typical CD players to eject the CD. When installing my First CD player (CD5444) I ran into the same problem and I had modified the little bezel trim peice that can be sceen in this picture. http://www.bicostereo.com/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=744 My old HU was stolen and the theif took my modified bezel trim piece with him as I chased his *** off with my 9). With my old install I was "great success". But this last one was "epic fail". I tried to use a file to grind down the lower corners on the bezel where the HU's motorized arms were hitting when ejecting the CD. But then it looked really grey and ruff so I decided to give it a little heat to smooth the plastic over. One side, it worked fine, but the other corner I got the plastic a little too hot and melted the trim piece. Now it looks terrible. I called metra and they want me to purchase an entire new install kit to get that little piece which I refuse to do. Anyone know where I can buy just the bezel trim piece that clips in place? Is there another brand I can go with cause I don't wanna do buisness with metra since they are being super stingy with their little trim pieces.
