Hi, I have seen it briefly mentioned in a thread or two before but other than an offhand comment not too much attention has been paid to this issue. The MB Quart ONX4.125 is a highly recommended budget-friendly amplifier that I was planning on utilizing to power a pair of front door components (channels 1&2) and then bridging channels 3/4 to power a 12" SSA DCON with 250w RMS of power. After doing a little more research I know see the issue where the ONX4.125 has no subsonic filter setting so apparently you must use the hi-pass crossover as one. Ive seen people say that the subsonic filter needs to be set for around 47-40 or 45 at most. But the high-pass crossover is only 60-13,000Hz. Will this amp be sending many frequencies to my sub that it will be unable to replicate? How can I prevent this issue -- is there an inexpensive "subsonic filter" that I can add in somewhere? some line drivers have them.. thoughts?
