I would def recommend upgrading electrical. Tried it in my old car and it dimmed instantly. Got a kinetic 2000 with 0 gauge and big three done, also my stock alt is either 120 or 130 amps. There is a noticeable difference doesn't get hot and voltage stays up in my daily setup at 1 ohm. I would definitely recommend it. Not sure about the 1500 never owned it.May as well get the 2k in case u want to upgrade in the future.</blockquote>
