Message: <blockquote data-quote="Phatillusion" data-source="post: 343107" data-attributes="member: 541271"><p>I had a couple friends recently come back from the marines.  One of them in particular was in really good shape.  Strong as an ox and unbelievably fast.  He said he was not nearly in shape compared to what he was after boot camp.  He said if he had it to do all over again, he probably would, but according to him there's a lot of b/s that goes on.  He said if his brother hadn't gone the same time he did, neither one of them would have made it.  I had him talk to my brother who was supposed to leave for boot camp in November, and I guess whatever it was they had to say scared the hell out of him, b/c he bailed out on it.  The only thing I can say that I heard them constantly repeat, is that nothing you can do will prepare you for what you will be put through.</p></blockquote><p></p>
