I've talked to a tech from Omega and learned a bit more about the situation, but since tech is closed for the night I guess I'll bang on the forums for a while and see what else I can come up with. One - apparently I have the omega MARS32 which is a full featured car alarm with remote start (although the brain clearly says 22). I noticed a siren in the engine compartment that had been disconnected. I found the lead for it and connected it. Two - the flashing lights mean the alarm has been triggered. Which leads me to the source of the problem. No matter what I try it REFUSES to disarm. The alarm sounds (flashes in my case) off for about a minute. Then stops and re-arms. About anything I try to do sets it off again. A simple remote door unlock is supposed to disarm it, but that clearly isn't working. My next question - if I defeat the starter disable so the truck runs - will we be driving around with flashing lights all day?? This is ******* real bad.
