Hi everyone, I'm a newbie on here and need some help with my amp. I had a nice amp in my car under the front seat and decided to take it out because it was more power than I needed. When I was removing it I did something stupid and forgot to disconnect the power to it. What happened was the power wire had detached and touched the amp a few times while I was pulling it from under the seat causing it to spark. Now when I connect any amp I get noise from any accessory I turn on whether the engine is running or not and when it is I get the sound of the engine coming through my sub. This does not happen with the sound from the head unit-only the sub. I have grounded it very well and tried 3 different amps and get the same result with each one. Have I fried something in my head unit or done something to my electrical system? Oh, I also get a very loud pop in the sub when powering on or off. Sorry for the rant-I just wanted to give all the details. Thanks for any help you can provide.
