I drive an <strong>03 VW GTI VR6</strong> and currently i have an <strong>alpine 9885</strong>, <strong>alpine 10"type r 4ohm DVC</strong> currently in a <strong>.65 cube sealed box</strong> powered by an <strong>alpine mrp m850 amp</strong>.</p><p></p><p>in the mail i have 2 sets of <strong>PG RSD65cs components</strong> and im about to pick up an <strong>alpine mrp f450</strong> amp locally of which i will be <strong>running passively</strong> until i pick up possible an <strong>alpine 9887 so i can run active.</strong></p><p></p><p>also im about to <strong>build a ported box</strong>. <strong>1.5 cubes @32hz</strong> for my single 10" i also plan to line my trunk with some sort of deadener and also line my doors too. any <strong>suggestions </strong>would be greatly appreciated. <strong>Big 3</strong> is also on my to do list.</p><p></p><p>Ive been through a few setups in the past, my first being my OE stereo with a <strong>12W3</strong> in a sealed box powered by a <strong>niche 400e amp</strong>. i then get a <strong>pioneer dehp 8600</strong>. sold that setup together for a good price and went back to my OE deck and got a <strong>basslink II</strong> which i was really happy with. someone shot me an offer i coudlnt refuse so i sold it and bought an <strong>alpine 9885</strong> with the ipod cable since my ipod has a huge amount of songs on it.</p><p></p><p>im aware i can get better amps but for the prices i paid/ will pay for the alpine amps, im pretty happy and i like having matching equipment as much as possible (with exception to the PG components)</p><p></p><p>I have experience in car audio retail. <strong>I worked for circuit city roadshop for 2 years</strong> and although i did learn a good amount of basic information and installation, it still doesnt compare to what i learned on here.
