Message: <blockquote data-quote="thegreatestpenn" data-source="post: 3949960" data-attributes="member: 582482"><p>the drinking age is fine where it is.  Remember, the drinking age used to be 18 in some states (learn your history folks) and it didn't work out  too well.  My teacher in middle school told me how some of his buddies died in a car accident because they went to PA to go drink (since the legal age was 18 there and 21 in Ohio).  They literally never made it back home because they felt the need to drink.  Besides, making the most addictive substance legal to an age range that is typically irresponsible will only cause more problems.</p></blockquote><p></p>
