Message: <blockquote data-quote="aadadams" data-source="post: 1695997" data-attributes="member: 567180"><p>I bought the P880PRS and had it installed.  I think the installer was fascinated by all the features of the deck.  When setting it up he turned on loudness, adjusted the BBE to +4, and he turned on this BMX thing which has four settings.  Well, after turning all that crap off and resetting my gains I am MUCH happier with my sound.  And even at peak I get NO distortion now.  Suffice it to say that I do not suggest using loudness.  If you have a parametric or graphic  EQ use it to tune your sound.  If I am not mistaken loudness just boosts the low and high frequencies quite a bit.</p></blockquote><p></p>
