Message: <blockquote data-quote="steveyblack" data-source="post: 2522181" data-attributes="member: 569167">that ****, happened before(stolen phone) and lost alot of old friends #'s.cingular insurnce sucks, well for exspenive phones, i had a 600(no service extention, saved some money from my bday and xmas and paid 400 and my parrents took car of the rest, i was 14 at the time) and i wanted insurance on it and got it, payed it and everything was good,...untill my sisted droped it in the bath tub(didnt leave my phone in there she was playing on it) and im like ok she didnt turn it back on yet ill let it air dry, so when its on the table drying off, she says she will do it in her room so she can hair dry iteverything was good, she set it up so that she dosnt haft to hold the dryer and the phone was on the floor(wood)...i go up stairs and see if she had it, and she did, i was like ok, about an hour later she says here, i get my phone and it works, so im like ok ill let it sit out another night just in case...the next morning she comes into my room to see if my phone was working, and it was and i had it charging on my floor( no outlet near the desk so that was the only place) and she came in and i said watch out for my *crack* phone. bammm she broke my phone, shit...so i bring it to cingular for a new one and they say no, im like breaking it is under insurance, and they are like yah it is but, its to expensive and it shouldnt be under insurance...(14 at the time)My dad was about to punch this guy in the face, so we paid insurance and they are not going to cover us, pretty much the same thing when we talked to the manenger, so we leave and call the corprit office, and talk to some guy and we threaten to sue. he said he will get me a new phone and refund for all the moeny we put into the inursance...never going to buy an expensive phone again...</blockquote>
