That's the worst thing you can do-- always take the Batt out IMMEADIATLY and remove covers, cases, whatever comes off ..then let it sit for 48-72+ hours on a dry napkin or in a sealed container/bag with those little packets that come with electronics to keep the moisture out.. I cant think of the name -- silica??? dunno.(p.s... SIM cards are just little electronic chips-- as long as you don't bend, cut or break them or scratch the gold contacts they will survive)</blockquote>
