Message: <blockquote data-quote="jrdnhsnbrg" data-source="post: 8165119" data-attributes="member: 643734"><p>I had a custom box made for a single 12" sub, threw an American Bass XFL 12" in there on an Alpine MRX-M100 amp for a while and it was as loud (and cleaner/punchier) as my friend's 2 12" CVRs in a kicker-made box on a kicker 1000W RMS amp.   The box is a huge factor in volume and quality.   Now I have a Hifonics BRX1600.1d amp and it is even cleaner and a tiny bit louder.</p></blockquote><p></p>
