Hello, Yet again, I’m looking to switch my setup around. I am quite pleased with my current setup but as always I want more. Before I go any further, here’s my current setup: Car: 2003 Eclipse Hatchback Head Unit: Kenwood DNX-7100 Battery: Redtop under the hood Wire: Big 3 Done, (2) runs of 2/0 from front to back (setup for a 2nd battery, just haven’t got there yet) Front Stage: PG 6.5 RSD’s in the doors, Infinity Kappa 6.5” components for rear fill, cheapo Lanzar amp Sub Amp: Sundown 1500d Sub Setup: 12” Fi BL D2, running @ 1ohm in 2.3 cubes @ 32hz After gutting my hatch and some careful measurement, the largest box I can fit in there without interference (and still keeping my back seat) is 4.3 cubes before displacement. My “plan” is to go with (2) 12’s. I mocked it up on WinISD and BassBox 6 Pro, and after all displacements (I estimated displacement for the subs) I’m looking at roughly 3.8 cubes. I have a current budget of lets say $350, give or take $50. Here's what I'm thinking: Option #1 – Keep the Sundown 1500d, change the subs. Looking at Fi SSD’s, IA Lethal Injections, or AQ sdc2.5’s.. I liked the looks of the RE SE, but I haven’t heard one in person. Option #2 – Keep the Fi BL I have, Purchase another one. Eventual plan would be to run (2) sundown 1500d’s strapped @ 2ohms. Until then I have a friend’s Crunch 1500d that I can use. This will force me to get another battery etc, not a big problem.. What would you guys that have been in similar situations recommend? As always, thanks for your input -Ken
