Message: <blockquote data-quote="SHiZNiLTi" data-source="post: 2260033" data-attributes="member: 561248"><p>RE SX 12 would be small a step up from the Type R 12, But if I was you I would just stick with the Type R in a really nice ported box 2.25 - 2.5 cubes in size tuned to 30hz - 34hz and feed it 800rms.  You will really like the output and sound quality for only spending $130 on that sub and there isn't too much that competes with it at that price.  I've heard bot the type R and the RE SX in person each getting around 700rms in 2.5cubes tuned to 32hz and was very suprised with the output that they both great SQ, Although I hafta say the RE sounded better to my ear.  If you have the extra money get a RE SX.</p></blockquote><p></p>
