If I take a random alt say like a 300 amp alt... thats internally regulated and drop it on my engine. will I need anything else to run it? like a stand alone module... I know there are people who have universal alts and what not. just trying to see, that if I drop this alt on a belt and have it spinning, and a wire run to the back battery bank, will it do anything? or will it cause some problems, and what would I need to do to run it.</p></blockquote><p></p>
