So no, the bass does not drown out the highs. My alternator is left stock, nothing done to it. If you were looking for a setup with the same amount of wattage as me, you would want a large battery designed for 2000 watts+. With my XS Power D3100, i dont get major dimming when playing it at maximum volume.</p></blockquote><p></p>
