If he is trying to run multiple switches off of only the signal voltage from the HU, the HU may not be providing enough power to light the switches, but enough to turn the amps on. If he wired the remote to the relay, the relay would come on when the car is turned on, and then would provide adequate power to light the switches as well as turn the amps on.</p></blockquote><p></p>
