Allright, well here goes. I have a 1988 Lincoln Town Car that ive installed my own system in. I take pride in my car, and i did not cut ANY corners when installing. The system ive got is a 1500w RMS Skar rp 1500.1 with two skar audio SDR 12's wired down to 1 ohm. I have 4 Gauge OFC wires for ground and power, with 12 gauge speaker wire. My problem that im having is the all too common light dimming. I thought the alternator was the issue, so i replaced it with a 220A Velocity brand alternator. The light dimming got a little bit better and the voltage refuses to go below 14.1, but the dimming is still there. The battery is only 2 months old, its a lead acid everstart battery. Anyone have any ideas what i need to do to fix it? Thanks in advance.
