It got pretty warm, but never cut off or even hot enough to worry for that matter. I didnt have my 16v then, but their newer big class Ds can all handle 16/18v out of the box, i wish i had it back then too. I loved my sundown amp, but the mtx was half the price literally. When my mtx's were stolen out of my garage, i switched to sundown.</p></blockquote><p></p>
