I have two 2ohm DVC IDQ's and a Soundstream ref 500s which is 2 channels. I heard that this amp can really heat up so I want to configure it so that it runs as cool as possible. My options are to run it at 1 ohm on each channel or 2ohms bridged. Is it safe to assume that running it at 1 ohm on each channel will make the amp hotter than 2 ohms bridged? will there be any other effect?
