Before you assume that the amp is bad, however, eliminate the possibility that it may be an ill that will be less expensive to remedy. You already stated that moving the speaker inputs on the left channel drivers to the right-channel amp outputs produced sound. So, it's obviously not a speaker problem. Not trying to treat you like a n00b but sometimes the most simle explanations are the most commonly overlooked - so check to see that your balance control on whatever head unit you're using isn't biased all the way right. If that's not it then move on to your interconnects. Swap the left and right RCA inputs on the amp to see if using the right channel (which is obviously transferring an audio signal) will make the left speakers work. Swap them at the amp first - do the swap with the deck turned off then turn it back on to see if it made any difference. You've gotta make certain that it isn't something so simple as a faulty RCA - and then check to make sure the preamp outputs on your head unit are working. After getting rid of those possibilities then move on to seeing if that side of the amp has gone bad. Good luck getting it sorted
