But most shops don't require certification for you to be an installer (I looked into it plenty before I decided to keep my normal job and just install for side money)... They agree that its a waste of time and money to have a piece of paper and sew on badge that says you know what you're doing, when a picture portfolio of work that you have actually done is much better than a stupid badge that you can put on your work jacket. Certification doesn't hurt you, but around here, it doesn't help you either.</p></blockquote><p></p>
