The amp is 3kw burpable for spl, and im driving it into hard clipping for testing purposes, and these suckers wont give.  I have even taken one of them out, built a box for it, and put 2kw on it with my friends jbl crown 2200.1 amp, and we have pounded on it for weeks. Takes it like a champ.  If the signal is clean, i cant see why it should hold up just fine with 2kw .  These are much better than last years models..  My last year models couldnt even dream of holding up with this amount of power/ abuse ive put them through.  Polecat even hinted to me that they should be fine with that amount of power, so i took his advance, and havent looked back sense..</p></blockquote><p></p>
