Message: <blockquote data-quote="Spr0ket" data-source="post: 1153462" data-attributes="member: 560341"><p>Geez man... that's teh suxx0rz.  From past experience though, the frayed wire is from defective materials on the tinsel lead.  Either that or defective materials on the soldering used at the terminals.  If they are under warranty, kicker should replace that one.  The coil damage though, it's hard to make out, but you can see it.  Not much you can do there though.  I honestly don't think a small sealed enclosure is going to make a difference though.  If a tinsel lead is to come off, it will happen regardless of enclosure.</p></blockquote><p></p>
