I really liked my old kicker subs too.. I have owned at least all of the older series, the C-8, C-10, C-12, C-15, C-18, some of those were 8 ohm, some were 4 ohm, and more recently the Comp 15" and CompVR 15", and now I have a brand new set of unused, 02S10L54, 10" Solobaric subs, dual 4 ohm, and I really want to put them in my truck with a SAZ-1500D, In my opinion these were the last of the kicker line that looked halfway decent... I just hate that new silver funky rice-burner looking sub they have now... why not just make it all black with a gold Kicker logo or something like the old ones, I think it would be awesome, but Polecast says it won't sell... or says the new ones sell better than the old ones, I just don't know about that, but that's what he said... Is there some way to get a re-cone for my CompVR 15" subs? They are like 2001 models I think, I am not 100% sure, I melted the sticker off the back a long time ago... I have 2 of them, one may still have the sticker, I would like to have both of them working and I will stick no more than like 500 watts on each one this time... I guess that's all they were rated for anyway, not sure as I said, the sticker came off... Hell, I think I even had some C-6.5's and I had a couple sets of D-20 tweeters, they sounded great, but I kept having to take the tweeter apart and unwrap wire from the coil and put it back together to make them work again... Everytime I cranked up the Metallica too loud I burned the wire in half... Those were the good ole days... LOL ****, I think may even still have some of the kicker brochures, which was more like a flyer if I remember right from back in the day with the old pre-boxed sub packages in it, I think they were called like SS-12 etc... I rememeber a classmate had the Kicker 12" truck boxes and a Kenwood KAC-1020 or KAC-1021 and it banged like nothing I ever heard before back then....LOL again...
