In a 2 way highway, if there is space for you in the right lane and you are not catching up to the tail of the car in that lane, STAY IN THE RIGHT LANE. The left lane is not the FAST lane, it's the PASS lane. When I'm on the freeway, there should be no reason, zero reason for me to have to hit the brakes unless there is traffic. Same should apply to everyone else. I do not understand why they do not stress this in drivers ed. It would seriously benefit drivers, and provide safer driving conditions. You know why speed is a concern on the highway? Because dumbasses force those speeders to brake. That's not to say that the speeder is "right" in the situation, but neither is the other individual.</blockquote>
