Yeah. GWB and republican dominated congress were so much better. They converted Clinton's budget surplus into a deficit. They cut the income tax primarily for the rich, which cost the budget something like a trillion dollars or more so far. That was awesome. He and his cabinet purposefully mislead the public in order to start the trillion dollar Iraq war. They also oversaw the worst asset bubble in American history since the great depression. I just can't think of anything positive that republicans have done in DC in 2000-2008. 8 years of wasted time. Just pointing out that not all republicans are always great. Gingrich and Romney seem like nice and reasonable presidential nominees to me. What annoys me is all the negativity and trash being thrown by the right at the President Obama. Most of it is undeserved. The country had accomplished some good things under his tenure. The financial meltdown was averted. We finally have a health care reform, which in my opinion is a good thing. However, good or bad, at least it got things moving in DC. American troops are finally out if Iraq. Bin Laden is dead. The economy is bouncing back. If you ask me, he's looking pretty strong to enter the 2012 election.
