Not indicating that Kicker's power is cleaner- but that with my experience with their amps the power is there and then some- so while it matches his other amp,no reason to stick to the Mmats when its nothing extraordinary in comparison. In this case both amps rated the same, should look into other deciding factors other than power. The KX is current, the Mmats(if rated the same) I dont believe is.
