About enough of that.............. Please remember that this is a forum for learning and not flaming. Everyone has different opinions and experience. We all can at least make an effort to be civil towards each other. May even be beneficial in learning a few things that would otherwise not present themselves. Please keep it friendly from now on. Installerfreak, you have to realize that people are naturally going to be a little skeptical of the SPL numbers you claim. If you are at 165.3db as you say you are- more power to you! Thats cool! Fact is, those are pretty impressive numbers, so naturally people are going ask some questions as to how you achieved it.- You can expect this at competitions quite a bit too. I think what Audiolife was getting at, is that many db meters can be easily thrown off by number of different things. He stated that he was just curious, so no harm done. Just things like Mic Placement, In Car/ Outside Measurement, Voltage at testing, windows up/down, test track-etc. Things like that....... No doubt I hope to see you sometime in the competition circuit. I compete in the IASCA Expert 601+ Sound Quality division- so no doubt, we will both likely have a few questions for each other too. take it easy, -zane
