Unfortunately the problem seems to happen even if I don't touch the gain dial. If I move it when there is no bass then it does come back but it may fade in and out on it's own. I thought I had a bum unit until it happened to a second unit. I agree it must be the KX series. I have an older 4 channel kicker that works great. I'm gonna ask the local audio shop if they have scene this ir know of a way to fix it.</p></blockquote><p></p>
