He has a kicker 800.2 and the sub is wired in series/parallel to a final 2 ohm load.......digital multimeter read 1.5.....im pretty sure its right. The amp will shut off if the gain is turned up to what its supposed to be at......the only way it wont shut off is if the gain is almost all the way down. It doesnt go into protect when it shuts down......it just turns off.It will come back on when the gain is backed all the way off. I even tried free-airing a kicker 15" L7 dual 4 off it and it still shut down.Anyone know why its shutting off?</blockquote>
