Let me tell y'all about my little toy, I've got a '96 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. Alpine deck, kicker resolution 6.5 components in the front doors, 5.25 resolution components in Q-forms in the floorboards, 6.5 resolution midbass in the back dorrs. all pushed by kicker 460. To accompany the earpiercing highs, I have a custom slot ported box containg 3 kicker soloberic 12" L7's. Powered by a Kicker ZR1000. To help the 1000 out I've added a Stinger 1 farad digital cap. The components, distribution blocks, security system components, and cap are all encased in plexyglass. Etched in the plexyglass is KICKER and accented in neon blue lighting to match the lighting of my deck. Flush mounted on the top are my two amps, along with the 3 L7 mounted side by side. Installation will be complete as of March 30. current forecast is a hit of around 150-152 dB. But I guess I won't know until I actaully get to test. If anyone has any advise as to what else I could do for this beast, it would be greatly appreciated. I would like to know of any problems I would have. I already plan on having the interior dynomatted and t-blocked for sound dampening. I was told that there is nothing you can do about a rattling hatch. I am also going to get a marine battery and an upgraded pheonix gold alternator.
