Look at an L7 it's square and produces a lot more bass than it's round counterpart made by the same company. Look at compression horns very accurate for the range they produce and Monsoon and Infinity make some flat speakers with little or no moving parts that are rectangles. Round speakers are just old technology what people know how to make most manufactures are just lazy to make something new and diffrent even if it may be better</p></blockquote><p></p>
