Message: <blockquote data-quote="irish33333" data-source="post: 696408" data-attributes="member: 559010"><p>I have owned 2 Kenwood head units and they both have had the same problem.  The first was a kdc-mp919 and the second was a kdc-mp922.  For both, after about 1.5 - 2 years, the unit does not want to turn on.  On turning the car on, the unit face will open and then close instantly.   The display does not even light up.  After doing that once, it will only open and close again if I disconnect the power from it (unplug battrery, remove fuse, or unplug harness).  I have opened the first one just to see if any capacitors had burst or anything was burned, and from the side I can access, everything looks fine.  Anyone have this problem??  Thanks</p></blockquote><p></p>
