[QUOTE="MemphisCherokee, post: 6776002, member: 573449"] Does anybody know of a USB harddrive that is compatible with the kdc-x993? Ive tried a western digital passport 500g but the HU wouldnt recognize it. i assume this is because it doesnt act simply like flash memory, but instead it has softwhere that has to be initialized by the "computer" (in this case, the HU) and that the x993 was incapable of doing such. any input would be really helpful. i dont wanna drop a ****ton of money on a new ipod and im getting tired of switching between four 16g flash drives.
