I sold my friend my WORKING (perfectly I might add) JVC KW-NT30HD. He used it for about a week then it blew a fuse. He brilliantly just added fuse after fuse after fuse even though he didn't make any changes is, lol. As you might suspect it popped every fuse. All he did was inspect the wiring (I assume in the dash only) and he checked the power cable inline fuse also. I am not sure if it is the car or the deck, but he sold the car, so I cannot test that. I did do an ohm check across some leads (hopefully not a tarded choice) and power to ground has continuity. To me this sounds very bad, but I wanted to confirm that there was no setup in car audio that makes this ok/acceptable. Is this normal behavior or is something likely fried that I may not want to bother working on? I like these little electronic projects, but a double din is pretty intricate and may be more work than its worth even if its a fun learning project. Ultimately the question is: Should ground to power have continuity, or should it be open as I suspect? Thanks! Btw, this is my first post.
