[QUOTE="soundman33, post: 7050618, member: 626982"] I was one of the first to run Phoenix Gold Amplifiers. They were the grey 150 watt amps and I believe they were serial numbers 00045-00049 They sounded great but they were CONSTANTLY breaking. The only time I had all 4 sub amps running I did a 150.9. This was in the day when the B&K was the gold standard of SPL meters and the world record was 159.9 I believe. I would typically find that at least one of my amps had died during the days SPL run. I was running 8 Kicker Competition 15's in a blue Ford Ranger. I also built a Ford Mustang that ran two of the PG 44 watt high current (white) amps on 8 Kicker Comp 15's, a Toyota Truck with 5 PG 150 watt amps, and a Hurst Olds that ran one of the Grey 150 watt amps on highs and one of the grey 250 watt amps on subs.
