Now, I don't want this to go in the review section because I am not really reviewing it, commenting more like it, I just put in 20 sq feet of the stuff(damplifier) in my car, and well I am not blown away, I got 20 sq ft of Damplifier and 18 sq ft of rattlepad, My car is an xterra, so I put about 16 sq ft on the tailgate and 2 sq ft behind each of my 6x9s. While I was installing it I noticed that my tailgate felt more solid and made much less noise each time I closed it, I was thrilled, then behind the 6x9s I went outside the car and banged on it and noticed it sounded more solid, so I finish installing it, anywhere from 1-3 layers in spots depending on where I could get my hands to apply it, and then reconnect everything and go at it, well at first it doesn't seem loud at all, all my amp settings are the same, cd player, everything the exact same as when I took it out, and it sounds not better, but worse, I go outside the car and my tailgate is still rattling and such, but not as much as it used to, inside I don't hear any of the rattles that I used to have but a few I didn't know I had( probably because I coulldn't hear them before) well I go and tinker with the amp and blah blah, and sit back in the driver seat, I play Moby 'why does my heart feel so bad' very deep resonating bass, and let it go. Well it sounds better than it did when I first hopped in the car, but not quite the difference I was expecting, sitting in the backseat the rear speakers are more audible( they're stock so they **** anyways) which is good because the bass used to drown them out entirely, but the bass isn't blowing me away Now, I don't know if I was expecting to much, I realized I only put 20 sq ft on and it is the cheaper version that is offered, but I am not overwhelmingly impressed, I am satisfied by what it did, but it isn't "awesome" so there you have it, maybe I was just expecting to much, I like the fact that it did help the sounds stay in, and I would be willing to put more in to prevent sound from leaving my car, so I still recommend it, just don't expect to much ok mods if you want to put this in the review I understand, but i'd rather keep it her to get comments later
